The 18th Annual Indoor Dickensian Street Market will take place Saturday 21st November from 10.15am to 4.15pm.
Pavilion Gardens Octagon, Buxton.
A most successful yearly event, that for the many thousands who have attended over the years will doubtless agree this is a great day for all the family. This is not just a market, but an experience, turning back the clock to the days when shopping was fun. Wander around brightly decorated stalls with their sellers dressed in Dickensian period costumes, or simply sit, surrounded by the stalls, in the simulated village green and listen to and watch a cavalcade of entertainment; Brass Bands, Dancers, Vocalists, Musicians, Choir.
It’s a great friendly day out for all, it’s indoors, dry and warm, even a chance for the children to visit Father Christmas.
