The Art Café
The Art Café, is an inspiring and innovative, self-service coffee lounge with an exciting menu.
The walls display a constantly changing, eclectic art exhibition. All the paintings on display are created by local artists, who are members of the High Peak Artists and Craft Workers Association – and they can be purchased by arrangement.
You can sit overlooking the Promenade, with superb views across the gardens, while enjoying sandwiches, baguettes, a soup of the day or one pot meal served with fresh bread, salads and cakes, all freshly made for you daily.
You can enjoy an exquisite range of hot and cold drinks, including a Fairtrade coffee experience unrivalled in Buxton, or teas, specialty teas and fruit teas, or hot chocolate made from selected Fairtrade cocoa beans from the Dominican Republic, as well as wines and beer, soft drinks and fresh fruit juices.
The Art Café is open from 10am at weekends, and every day during all holidays throughout the summer and September. From October onwards, it is available for informal midweek meetings. Call 01298 23114 for enquiries and bookings.
