The seven-year Gardens restoration project was completed in 2004 at a cost of £4.5m. The project was supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and achieved its aim of restoring the Pavilion Gardens back to its original Victorian style.

The Gardens are enjoyed by approximately 1,000,000 people every year and the combination of walks, lakes, play areas and miniature train ensure that they remain a firm favorite with the whole family.

Located within the parkland is our fantastic children's adventure play area. Complete with outdoor fitness park and kiosk serving hot and cold beverages, snacks and ice cream this is a great little gem for all the family.



Nestled at the side of Buxton Opera House is the entrance to our wonderful botanical conservatory. With plants and palms from all around the world this expertly tended area is a fantastic introduction and face of the building. Our gardener...
